According to the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE), producers who want to become an eligible producer in 2022 can apply: starting April 1 if there are projects based on working with renewable energy sources; starting April 8 if the projects are focused on wind energy; and starting April 15 if the projects involve solar energy. Application requirements can be found at https://clck.ru/eBXDK.

As a reminder, ANRE recently approved new tariffs for electricity generated from renewable sources for producers that will become eligible in 2022. The new tariffs are differentiated from the current ones. For example, the tariff for electricity generated from solar energy by eligible producers who receive their status in 2020 is 1.88 lei per 1 kWh. For 2022, the tariff is differentiated depending on the technology, capacity of photovoltaic panels and their location (4 gradations in total), and varies from 1.75 to 1.97 lei per 1 kWh. In the field of wind installations the tariffs are approved at the level of 1.59 and 1.84 lei per 1 kWh. The tariff for the use of water power is unified and increased from 0.97 to 1.19 lei. The tariff for electricity produced by using biogas or biomass varies from 1.37 to 2.14 lei per 1 kWh. The tariffs will be valid for one year.
