Horus Energy Company takes part in the extensive process of modernization of the western heat and power plant (CT Vest), which provides hot water and heating to consumers in the Buiucani sector, the Skuleni district and partly in the center of the capital.

The work was planned in advance and involves the replacement of several devices with outdated life. Some of them lasted as long as 20 years, which is twice the norm.

The main work performed by Horus Energy is aimed at overhauling two boilers, namely the supply and replacement of convective packages of PTVM-100 boilers.

“Overhaul of facilities at the Western TPP will increase the degree of reliability in supplying consumers with heating and hot water, increase the efficiency of the equipment, as well as significantly increase the degree of safety of their operation,” said Vyacheslav ENI, Director General of Termoelectrica.

Some of these works are provided for in the Investment Plan for 2019, and the other part was carried out as part of the project “Improving the efficiency of the district heating system.

The modernization began at the end of May and will continue until the end of this year, without affecting the supply of thermal energy for heating and hot water intended for Chisinau.
