The Public Property Agency inspected the work on the modernization of Power Unit No. 1, Source 1. During working visits to A.O. "Termoelectrica", Director General of the Public Property Agency Eugene Cozonac and Deputy Director General Tatiana Savva were informed about the project for the reconstruction and modernization of Power Unit No. 1, Source 1 - unique for the energy sector of the Republic of Moldova. The work was carried out by "Horus Energy" at the expense of its own investment sources.

The effect of the investment is significant and includes increasing the efficiency of the plant by rationalizing fuel consumption, increasing the capacity for electricity generation in cogeneration and increasing the duration of operation. As a result of the work performed at that time, Horus Energy's calculations showed annual savings for A.O. "Termoelectrica" ​​40 million lei. Taking into account the current tariff for natural gas, this figure is more than 95 million lei per year.

Earlier this week, the management of the agency paid a working visit to the capital's CHPP-1. During the visit, high-ranking officials got acquainted with the current state of affairs and were interested in the amount of investment needed to increase the productivity of the enterprise.
