The modernization of the Pumping Stations (PS) no. 4, no. 6 and no. 22 is in full swing.

The dismantling works of the old thermotechnical equipments, of the thermal pipes and of the pumps, operated for more than 30 years, have been completed.

At present, the last disassembled machines are being evacuated and the spaces for the installation of new equipment are being prepared.

In order to ensure that the works are carried out according to the schedule and that there are no delays, the General Manager of Termoelectrica, Veaceslav Eni, accompanied by the Technical Director, Alexandru Lupan, made a field visit.

„The modernization of these three PS will allow us to substantially improve the quality of district heating services provided to over 90 thousand consumers in the sector. Botany and partly the Center and at the same time to reduce the costs of their operation and maintenance ", mentioned Veaceslav Eni, during the visit.

According to the investments planned for this year and approved by ANRE, the three PS will be replaced by pumps, motors, frequency converters and related equipment.

The works are to be completed by the beginning of the cold season.
