At the same time, the station's installed capacity utilization factor (2520 MW) increased over the year from 21.2% to 22.6%. In the fuel balance of the station, the share of gas in January-December 2021 amounted to 95.32%, coal - 4.59%, fuel oil - 0.09% against 99.94%; 0.01%; 0.05%, respectively, for the same period a year earlier. As noted at the Kuchurgan power station, the increase in electricity generation in 2021 was associated with an increase in its consumption by enterprises of Pridnestrovie, as well as with an increase in the volume of electricity supplies to the right bank of the Dniester, which in Tiraspol is regarded as “export to Moldova”. As noted, in 2021 the Kuchurgan power station supplied to the consumers of Pridnestrovie 1 billion 208 million kWh, which is 7% more than in 2020, and "for export to Moldova" - 3 billion 446 million kWh, which is 6% above the level of the previous year. As InfoMarket agency reported earlier, in 2020, in comparison with 2019, Kuchurgan power station increased electricity production by 10.5% - up to 4 billion 688.96 kWh. Kuchurgan power station is located in Transnistria on the western shore of the Kuchurgan Estuary. The installed capacity of the power plant is 2520 MW.
