Termoelectrica General Director Vyacheslav Eni inspected projects for modernization, overhaul and preparation of heat and power equipment for the cold season at CHP Source 1. These works are carried out with the support of Horus Energy.
Vyacheslav Eni distinguished the importance of completing all projects started by the beginning of the heating season in order to ensure the continuity of electricity and heat production, as well as to improve the quality of district heating services.
In this regard, the representatives of Horus Energy assured that all work will be done efficiently and on time, so that citizens can be sure that they will constantly receive electricity and heat. Moreover, as a result of the modernization of the enterprise's equipment, this will increase the efficiency of their activities and reduce production costs.
During the visit, the General Director of Termoelectrica followed the process of replacing the pipes of the rear screens of power boilers No. 1 and No. 3, the work was completed by more than 60% and 30%, respectively. The rear screens of power boilers were manufactured in a new workshop for the production of heat exchange surfaces at the Vibropribor SRL plant under the auspices of specialists from Russia from the TKZ Krasny Kotelshchik plant, a manufacturer of TGM-96B boilers.
This reconstruction will improve the reliability of the boilers and reduce the risk of damage associated with the occurrence of possible cracks in the pipes.
The General Director also got acquainted with the stage of the current repair work of the turbine generators and the filling of a new layer of wear on the bearings of the turbine No. 3. These reconstructions will increase the reliability of the process of generating electricity and heat in cogeneration.
The repair program at CHPP Source 1 should be completed by mid-September, with the exception of power unit No. 3, which will be reconstructed by the end of October, which will not affect the production of electricity and heat in cogeneration.
With the support of Horus Energy, pumping stations No. 4, 6, 22 in Chisinau were also modernized, which provides for the installation of 6 new KSB pumps (Germany) and the relocation of 3 existing pumps (year of manufacture 2008), modernization of distribution capacities 6 / 0.4 ( ABB), automation of technological processes based on Siemens equipment, internal replacement of all pipes and their insulation, etc. These works are aimed at reliable supply of heat energy to consumers and reduction of electricity consumption for pumping heat carrier in Chisinau.
