Horus Energy has completed the modernization of pumping station No.6 in Chisinau. The station has undergone comprehensive testing and has already been put into operation.
In the process of modernization, the company performed general construction works, waterproofing the building, pouring industrial floors, installing a roof and landscaping the adjacent territory. Horus Energy specialists installed and commissioned new, energy-efficient pumping equipment, installation of pipelines with control and stop valves. Electrical equipment was replaced with equipment with a high level of automation and signaling, with modern energy efficiency parameters. The new medium voltage electrical equipment is based on Siemens components.
After the modernization, maintenance costs were significantly reduced, since the technological process was fully automated, electricity consumption and losses on hydraulic lines decreased.
Pumping stations are designed to maintain a given pressure in pipelines, in supply and return (from consumers), as well as to protect the main heating networks.
This year, Horus Energy has successfully completed the modernization of two other heat pumping stations (No. 4 and No. 22) in the Riscani and Botanica sectors of the capital.
