Horus Energy implemented the overhaul of the boiler DKVR 6,5 / 13 No. 5 with the replacement of all pipes Ø51 * 3.0 of the side screen and convective beams due to physical wear. Recovery of a boiler room, brickwork and isolation of gas channels after boiler repair.

Work Stages:

• Preparatory work - partial dismantling of the boiler walls, including side and rear walls;
• Dismantling of screen pipes and pipes with a convective beam together with partitions in this zone;
• Separation of each pipe according to measurements or technical drawings from the boiler passport. Preparation of pipe ends and convective beams (rubbing) before they are mounted;
• Preparation of welding sites (grinding holes) in the side collectors and drums;
• Installation (welding in two seams in the side collectors and drums) of screen pipes and pipes with a convective beam;
• Preparation of welded joints for technical diagnostics. Visual inspection of a 100% weld with representatives of our metal control laboratory;
• Hydraulic tests at a pressure of 1.3 MPa;
• Inspection of welded joints with ultrasound or other non-destructive methods;
• Welding of the gas channel and other elements of the boiler to supports for the installation of thermal insulation and / or restoration of insulation;
• Reconstruction of the boiler in the convection beam and side screens. Restoration of thermal insulation on the gas channel and the area above the boiler.
