Unmotivated attacks on Horus Energy continue, which could be backed by two dubious businessmen, Victor Slivinsky, director of Turboenergy Power, Alexandru Baltag, former director of the Association of Businessmen (during Vlad Plahotniuc's rule) and former Prime Minister Kirill Gaburici. The activities of these people have already been reported to the prosecutor's office and the National Anti-Corruption Center.
This time, an anonymous source of information, but who is well known who is behind him, also attacked the government of the Republic of Moldova, speculating on the visit of Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilitsa to Brussels. This material also presented false information, which indicates that the authors and sponsors either do not know the reality, or deliberately distort it. PROMINVEST DEVELOPMENT LTD, the sole shareholder of HORUS SRL, is not an offshore company registered in the Seychelles, as wrongly stated in this article. This company is officially registered in London, UK and can be found with a simple Internet search.
The Power Machines horror story is also used for clear manipulation as it is the Russian company that will be upgrading Termoelectrica SA. The equipment and technologies of this concern have been present in the Republic of Moldova for more than 60 years and are used at most of the facilities for the production of electricity and cogeneration in our country. Thus, the financial interests of this group of people are trying to hide behind a geopolitical charm.
We remind you that this coordinated attack also uses the so-called politician Vasily Kostyuk, who must answer in court for widespread lies and slander. We assume that the “former stockbroker of Plahotniuc,” as Vasily Kostyuk is often called, received a “new tranche” these days and returned with attacks on the same day when the slanderous materials appeared. This once again demonstrates coherence and organization in the shadow of the attack. At the same time, we are re-sending an invitation to Vasile Kostyuk to make a documentary visit to the facilities that we are modernizing, for discussion directly with specialists, in order to get answers to all the questions he asks from the street. Thus, he will be able to speak consciously, having all the necessary explanations at hand.
We have repeatedly emphasized that the reason for this defamatory attack is the purely material interests of the persons mentioned, who have different understandings of how to do business by conducting false information campaigns on order and blackmailing, which we have already reported to law enforcement agencies. Likewise, all these illegal activities have become the subject of appeals to the courts.
As for the modernization works of Termoelectrica SA, they are being carried out urgently in order to avoid a possible energy collapse in Chisinau during the heating season. Previously, local and foreign experts drew attention to the fact that this autumn the safe operation period of power unit No. 2 of Source 1 (former CHP-2) of Termoelectrica SA, the main producer of electricity and heat in cogeneration in the country, expires, and next year the warranty period for the third block of three existing ones. Modernization of these facilities will extend their safe operation for another 5-7 years in accordance with the legal norms of the Republic of Moldova.
Unfortunately, some businessmen put their personal interests and behind-the-scenes struggle above the interests of citizens and the Republic of Moldova, endangering the energy security of our country.
Since we care about the fate of the country, the economic prosperity and well-being of its citizens, the company "HORUS ENERGY" will soon present a project on the use of modern highly efficient technologies by installing a combined cycle cogeneration group equipped with gas and steam turbines, the result of which will increase the level of energy security of the Republic of Moldova.
The company "HORUS ENERGY" will continue to work honestly and professionally to fulfill all its obligations, making its contribution to ensuring that hundreds of thousands of Chisinau residents will not be left without heat this winter.
